NHAI awards Rs. 119-cr flyover contract in Chhattisgarh
NHAI has awarded a Rs. 119 crore contract to an Ahmedabad-based construction company for developing a flyover at Tatiband highway in Chhattisgarh. The construction work is set to start soon. The locals have repeatedly raised the demand for the construction of a flyover at the Tatibandh square, which has become a death trap for pedestrians and motorists. With Tatibandh being the intersection point of multiple highways, the flyover is likely to benefit lakhs of commuters travelling from Bhilai to Bilaspur and vice-versa.
