NHAI awards Rs. 1,292-cr highway contract

Adding to its project portfolio in the road and highway sector, Atlanta in a media statement said that it has been declared as a preferred bidder for six lanes highway stretch starting from 401.200 km to 494.410 km length of the NH-8 in the state of Gujarat. The mega road project, which commands a total length of 93.210 km falls under NHDP Phase V (Package-VI) on the basis of Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) involving a staggering investment of Rs. 1,292cr. The mega national highway project has been awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). In order to strictly adhere to the given completion deadlines, the road building infra major is all set to form a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the implementation of the mega project in question.
