NHAI awards 9 packages of Delhi-Mumbai e-way

In a bid to complete the mega road project within the stipulated timelines, the NHAI has recently awarded nine of the 40 packages of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, which involves an investment of ₹90,000 crore, said official sources. The 9 construction companies that have bagged contracts for building the expressway are Patel Infra, Ashoka Buildcon, Sadbhav Engineering, Apco Infra, Kundu Construction Company (KCC Buildcon), CDS Construction, Gawar Construction, IRB Infra and Ircon. The Central government and NHAI are currently working out modalities to award the remaining packages of the project, which is partly being funded through the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF).
