NH project worth Rs. 4,153-cr up for grab

Bengaluru Nidaghatta Nidaghatta Mysuru Highway
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has recently floated tenders for Bengaluru-Nidaghatta (56 km) and Nidaghatta-Mysuru (61 km) sections of the road project entailing an investment of Rs. 4,153.29cr, said sources, elaborating that the estimated cost of the Bengaluru-Nidaghatta section is Rs. 1,984-cr while the Nidaghatta-Mysuru section will cost Rs. 2,169.29cr. As a matter of fact, the existing NH-275 is not really a four-lane road, as such it didn’t match the standards set by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways but after completion of the project in question, there will be a six-lane main road flanked by a two-lane service road.
