Adding to its project portfolio in the country's construction sector, NBCC has recently bagged a construction contract entailing an investment of ₹250 crore from Steel Authority of India, said an official spokesperson in a recent statement, claiming the scope of work in the contract included the construction of Ispat post-graduate medical institute and also building a super-specialty hospital at Rourkela steel plant in Odisha. The company will plan and design the building as a steel-intensive structure spreading across three lakh sq ft and execute the works as project management consultant using green energy-efficient technologies, he added.
