A P announces ₹400 cr elevated road corridor

Road Corridor
In a major move for the infra development in Tirupati, the state CM has recently given green signal to build a 6-km long elevated road corridor to solve the traffic woes in the pilgrim centre entailing an investment of ₹400 crore. A decision to this effect was taken recently by the state government after taking the district administration on board and the project will facilitate hassle-free movement of tourists by accommodating more vehicles coming from across the country to the religious place. To avoid pilgrim vehicles entering city lanes, the Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) has also planned for the construction of the elevated corridor from Tiruchanur Market Yard to Kapilateertham Nandi circle via Lakshmipuram and Ramanuja circles on the existing Tirumala bypass road stretch, said an official spokesperson.
