Namma Metro Phase 3A Gets Approval, Awaits Union Cabinet Nod

The Government of India’s Urban Development Department has approved the Namma Metro Phase 3A project, set to link Hebbal and Sarjapur over a 37 km stretch. The project now awaits the Union Cabinet’s approval, pending a finance department review of the detailed project report (DPR) for funding decisions. Initially estimated at ₹16,500 crore in 2022-23, the project's cost has now increased to ₹27,000 crore.
