Mumbai to get ₹3,000-cr tunnel in Parsik Hill

An 8-km road with a 3-km tunnel, the longest in Mumbai metropolitan region through Parsik Hill has been approved at an investment of ₹3,000 crore. The project will provide an exclusive passage to the upcoming Corporate Park (BJC-II) in the area, said MD- Cidco, Lokesh Chandra. The infra project will connect Turbhe station and will bifurcate the Thane-Belpaur road to Tata Hospital in Kharghar. The road will provide connectivity to Panvel and will save commuting time. There will be a global tender for executing the project after the Cidco board approves the project.
