SeaLink Projects
Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has awarded the ₹7,000 crore Versova-Bandra Sea Link (VBSL) project to the Reliance Infrastructure-Astaldi SpA (Italy) consortium. It will take five years to complete the mega infra project, which spans the Bandra-end of the existing sea link and Versova. It will have four 8.1-km long connectors, taking the total construction length to 17.7km — about three times that of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. It is one of the largest BoT engineering and construction projects. Reliance Infrastructure is fully geared to deliver the project on the scheduled timeline as the consortium has already completed soil investigation etc in partnership with Fugro and Renuka Enterprise, and engineering design along with Dar Al Handasah. MSRDC will soon finalize the casting yard for work to start on the project as quickly as possible, said CEO, Reliance Infrastructure, Punit Garg,
