The Union government has fixed Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir on the country’s rail network radar, as Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha informed. The Union Railway Ministry has already earmarked funds for the survey of the rail line, marking a pivotal step toward enhancing connectivity, and infrastructure in the region. Once the survey is completed and the DPR is submitted, the construction work on this transformative rail project will commence.
