The Machilipatnam-Kurnool City Express will depart from Machilipatnam at 16:55 hours and arrive at Kurnool City at 05:45 hours the following day. In the return direction, the Kurnool City-Machilipatnam Express will depart from Kurnool City at 09:30 hours and reach Machilipatnam at 21:35 hours on the same day.
The Machilipatnam-Kurnool City Express will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, while the return service will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
The new train will have commercial stoppages at Gudivada, Vijayawada, Narasaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Cumbum, Giddalur, Diguvametta, Nandyal, Betamcherla and Dhone.
The introduction of the service will improve rail connectivity between Machilipatnam, Vijayawada and Kurnool City, while providing passengers with better access to towns and cities along the 499-km route. The additional service is expected to offer greater travel convenience for passengers commuting between coastal and inland Andhra Pradesh.
