Afcons Wins Rs 7,544 Crore Railway Project in Croatia

Afcons Infrastructure Limited has emerged as the most suitable bidder for a major railway rehabilitation and construction project in Croatia, marking the company’s entry into the European infrastructure market.

The project involves reconstruction of the existing railway track and construction of a second rail line on the Dugo Selo–Novska route, along with overhead electrification, signalling and telecommunication works.

Valued at €677.07 million, equivalent to around Rs 7,544 crore, the contract is the company’s largest international order to date and strengthens its global infrastructure portfolio.
