Malabar Developers, which is the Kerala-based real estate builder, has decided to build a mid-priced housing projects in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, covering an area of 16 million sqft space. The builder has a huge presence in jewel business and has diversified in developing commercial and residential projects, integrated townships and shopping malls over the next three years, said Chairman, Malabar Group, MP Ahammed, adding that the company has targeted to invest about Rs.10,000 crore in the next two years. In this connection, it is generating funds from HNIs and has over 1,000 investors. The company is developing 6 lakh sqft Mall of Travancore. The builder is in the process of acquiring land in Tamil Nadu, Andhra, and Karnataka, as it currently has a land bank of 225 acres and five projects are currently in full swing, he claimed.
