Mahindra Lifespaces launches Rs.600 cr clusters

Mahindra Lifespaces Developers, in a recent move, has introduced its new brand of industrial clusters across the county and its first two projects are coming up in North Chennai and Ahmedabad at an investment of Rs.600 crore. As a matter of fact, 'ORIGINS brand by Mahindra World City' envisions accelerated economic growth via world-class industrial ecosystems that will attract investment in manufacturing and promoter of 'Make in India'. The first project in North Chennai with a phase 1 development of 264 acres is a joint venture between Mahindra World City Developers and Sumitomo Corporation of Japan. Similarly, the second project is located near Ahmedabad, with a phase 1 development of 268 acres and is being developed along with International Finance Corporation as a strategic partner. Together these industrial clusters are expected to generate direct employment for around 20000 persons and will target companies across engineering, medical equipment, food processing and logistics sectors.
