Maharashtra kick-starts ₹4,000-cr mega housing scheme
Maharashtra Government has launched a new rural housing project named 'Maha Awas Yojana' under which 8.82 lakh rural houses will be built in 100 days. The project has been undertaken by Maharashtra's Rural Development department at an investment of ₹4,000 crore. A total of 8,82,135 housing are to be built under this project and all the residential units will be equipped with modern amenities and will strictly be delivered by the end of February next year.
