M'rashtra launches Rs. 8,000cr road projects

In its quest to construct world class road infrastructure in the state, the Maharashtra's PWD wing is all set to start mega road projects worth Rs. 8,000cr, the concerned minister in the state government said, adding that the state government has already prepared a blueprint and the details of which will be announced very shortly. As a matter of fact, the focus of the current government is to develop state highways, district roads and to provide road connectivity to each every village, he said, adding that after commissioning the the targeted projects no village in the state would be left without road connectivity. Apart from this, the planned road connectivity will link the countless historic religious places and cities and also the likes of Kasba Beed village, which was one of the prominent town of about 1,000 years old situated about 20 km from the city, on confluence of Tulshi and Bhogavati River and that the move would not just link the remote areas of the state but also conserve the rich heritage of these places, he claimed.
