LG Manoj Sinha Lays Foundation for Rs 700 Cr Urban Development Projects in J&K

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha laid the foundation stone for 60 urban development projects worth Rs 699.79 crore under AMRUT 2.0 during the Sewa Parv celebrations in Jammu, organised by the Housing and Urban Development Department (H&UDD).

Emphasising sustainable urban planning, Sinha urged bold, ground-level execution to shape climate-resilient cities. He cited the Tawi Riverfront as a model project and called for wider adoption of Jammu Municipal Corporation’s Swachhata Internship Programme and Green Colony initiative across the Union Territory.
