L&T Bags Rs 2,500–5,000 Cr EPC Orders for Tourism, Sports and High-Rise Residential Projects

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that its Buildings & Factories business has secured several major EPC contracts across India, spanning tourism infrastructure, sports facilities and high-rise residential construction. Under L&T’s internal classification, these “large” orders fall in the Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 5,000 crore value range, with execution timelines between 27 and 36 months.

L&T has received an order from the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation to build Advait Lok—comprising the Acharya Shankar Museum Complex and parking facilities—at Omkareshwar in Khandwa district. The scope includes civil and architectural works, MEP services, external development, and five years of operations and maintenance. The project will be completed within 36 months.

The company has also secured an EPC contract from the Assam government for redeveloping the R G Baruah Sports Complex in Guwahati. The project includes a FIFA-compliant football stadium with a seating capacity of 25,000, alongside other sports and allied facilities, to be completed in 27 months.

In the private sector, L&T has bagged an order to construct three high-rise residential towers in Mumbai. The project features two basements, a ground floor and 45 to 66 upper floors, built with reinforced concrete shell-and-core structures and related services. The towers will rise up to 230 metres.
