Kerala's ₹3,500-cr Hill Highway project fast-tracked

According to PWD minister in the state cabinet, G Sudhakaran, the Hill Highway project, which is a dream project for the state, has been fast tracked and will be completed in two and a half years at an investment of ₹3,500 crore. In addition, the government has given priority to work of the coastal highway for which ₹6500 crore has been earmarked. The work of the Hill Highway is being speeded up on 45 stretches and in Kolichal-Idaparamba route the 21.5 km road is being completed at an expense of ₹85.15 crore. The minister also inaugurated the work of the bridge across Thejaswini River, connecting Kayyur-Cheemeni and West Eleri Panchayats in the Kasaragod district.
