Kerala cracks Rs. 1000cr road project

Kerala Road Project
In a bid to make available smooth transport facilities to the local road users, the state government in Kerala has included the Angamaly-Nedumbassery airport bypass road project in its road building plans, said official sources, detailing that the project in question, which involved an investment worth Rs. 1,000cr, was previously cleared by the then LDF-led state government but remained in limbo to date. A detail project report would be ready within two months and the government proposed to implement the project in a private-public partnership model in a phased manner whereby the first phase would be from Karayamparambu to Angamaly railway station junction and the second phase is expected to be extended from there to the airport, they claimed.
