JSW Cement to Invest Rs 3,000 Cr in New Rajasthan Facility

JSW Cement has announced plans to invest approximately Rs 3,000 crore in establishing a cement manufacturing facility in Nagaur district, Rajasthan. The greenfield project will be financed through a combination of debt and equity.

The investment encompasses the construction of a clinkerization unit with a capacity of up to 3.30 MTPA (million tonnes per annum) and a grinding unit with a capacity of up to 2.50 MTPA. Additionally, the new plant will feature an 18 MW waste heat recovery-based power generation system.

As part of the project, JSW Cement will also construct a 7-km overland belt conveyor to facilitate the transportation of limestone from mines to the manufacturing plant. Furthermore, arrangements will be made to utilize alternative fuel in the kiln, contributing to sustainable manufacturing practices.
