IRCON awards ₹558-cr rail contracts to Tata Projects

IRCON International has issued a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) to Tata Projects for the work pertaining to supply and commissioning of railway electrification work for Pipar – Bilara, Makrana – Parbatsar, Merta Road-Merta City, Merta Jodhpur in Rajasthan & Merta – Phulera Sections of North Western Railway involving an investment of about ₹241.06 crore. The scope of work in the project includes design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of railway electrification work on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model requiring a completion period of 450 days.

Tata Projects has also won another railway electrification contract from IRCON for design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of electrification work for Hanumangarh-Sriganganagar-Sarupsar-Suratgarh, Incl. Sarupsar Anupgarh, Madar-Pushkar, Degna-Ratangarh, Hisar-Suratpura Sections of North Western Railway Package No. 1 on EPC model with completion of 600 days at a cost of ₹317.23 crore.
