IRB Infra Trust JV Achieves COD for Palsit-Dankuni NH19 BOT Project in West Bengal

Palsit Dankuni Tollway Pvt. Ltd., a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) under IRB Infrastructure Trust, the private InvIT joint venture of IRB Infrastructure Developers, has received the Commercial Operation Date (COD) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for 61.3 km out of the total 63.83 km stretch of the Palsit-Dankuni NH-19 BOT Project in West Bengal.
With the COD approval, the company is now authorized to commence toll collection at revised tariff rates, which include a 47% increase. The project involves the 4-laning to 6-laning of the busy Palsit-Dankuni section on National Highway 19, enhancing traffic flow and regional connectivity.
Virendra D. Mhaiskar, Chairman & Managing Director said, “Receiving the COD is a significant milestone for this project. It enables us to commence toll collection at the revised tariff rates, as per the Concession Agreement. With COD in place, we expect toll collections to improve by ~₹100 crore annually, based on Q1 FY25 trends.”
