Tender Floated for Anjaneri-Brahmagiri Ropeway Project by NHLML

The ropeway, spanning 5.7 kilometers, will connect the two significant locations at an estimated cost of Rs 345 crore. Nashik MP Hemant Godse, who has persistently advocated for the project over the past five years, stated that tenders have been issued, and applications will be accepted until July 31.
Trimbakeshwar, home to one of the 12 jyotirlinga temples in the country, attracts a large number of pilgrims. Additionally, it co-hosts the Kumbh Mela with Nashik city once every 12 years. With Brahmagiri hill believed to be the origin of the Godavari River and Anjaneri hills considered the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, both locations hold great religious significance. Consequently, the ropeway project is expected to facilitate travel between these places and benefit the pilgrims visiting the towns.
