Techno Paints plans three more plants in AP & MP
Techno Paints, a paint manufacturer based in Hyderabad, has announced its plan to set up three new plants in Visakhapatnam and Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, and Katni in Madhya Pradesh. The plants will manufacture cement putty, textures, primers, and emulsions, with an initial annual capacity of 30,000 metric tons each. The company is investing Rs 46 crore in the new plants, which will be funded through debt financing as banks have shown interest in financing the project.
Currently, Techno Paints has three plants in Telangana and one in Andhra Pradesh, with a combined annual capacity of 2.50 lakh metric tonnes. The company's founder, Akuri Srinivas Reddy, aims to establish Techno Paints as a major player in India's painting sector.
