Singapore investors commit ₹20,000-cr to various sectors in UP

Investors in Singapore have committed to investing approximately ₹20,000 crore in various sectors, including logistics services, infrastructure, hyperscale data centers, inland waterways, and logistics and warehousing, in Uttar Pradesh, according to a recent presentation organized by the UP Global Investment Summit (UPGIS). The state government also signed 12 financial MoUs with Singapore-based corporations and investors during the visit, in addition to a non-financial MoU with the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for exploring business opportunities and collaboration in Uttar Pradesh. The Singapore Institute of Technical Education has also expressed interest in setting up education and training institutes in the state. The visit included a Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry-Enterprise Singapore CEOs roundtable conference and a roundtable meeting with the Singapore Business Federation.
