infrastructure projects
Delhi Lt. Governor V.K. Saxena has approved a number of proposals for infrastructure projects aimed at transforming the national capital's skyline. These projects, which include the re-development of GPRA Colony in Srinivaspuri and GPRA Colony Sarojini Nagar, as well as the Urban Extension Road (UER-II) by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), had been pending for some time.

The L-G also approved the construction of CISF Residential Quarters at Saket, the construction of Road Over Bridge and Road Under Bridge at Sultanpuri, Nangloi, a group housing residential project at Roshanara Road, road construction on the stretch between Parmanand Chowk to Kingsway Camp, and the widening of Burari Road. These projects had been kept pending by the Environment Department despite the provision of land for compensatory afforestation and the payment of applicable amounts.
