New Noida Economic Hub to be Built Along Eastern Peripheral Expressway

the Eastern Peripheral Expressway
The Uttar Pradesh government, in partnership with the Centre, is focusing on building a new economic hub in Noida-Greater Noida, known as New Noida. This area will be located on either side of the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and will feature two freight corridors connecting Greater Noida's Dadri to Mumbai's Jawaharlal Nehru Port and Kolkata to Amritsar. New Noida will include 80 villages from Gautam Buddha Nagar, Khurja, and Sikandrabad. The area will also have the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, wetlands, heliport, and Golfcourse complex. The Eastern Peripheral Expressway will provide easy access to Faridabad and Gurgaon, and the Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad Expressway will also connect to the area. Investors from various cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ghaziabad, Noida, and Greater Noida are already showing interest in buying land in New Noida before its official announcement as a new satellite city in the National Capital Region. The Noida International Airport will serve not only Uttar Pradesh but also other states, and will also help to alleviate passenger pressure on Delhi's IGI Airport. The two airports will be connected via a metro line, and a Fintech city will also be built near the metro line, featuring offices of financial institutions and multinational companies.
