NBCC Signs MoU With NHPC To Execute Infrastructure Projects Across India

State-owned NBCC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NHPC to execute the latter's infrastructure projects across India, primarily covering buildings, structures and allied works.

Under the agreement, NBCC will provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services and undertake specific NHPC infrastructure projects on a deposit work basis.

The scope of work will cover design, engineering, project management, procurement, construction, quality control, installation, commissioning and statutory compliances, along with handing over completed projects.

The MoU brings together NHPC's experience in the hydropower and clean power sectors with NBCC's expertise in planning and executing diverse infrastructure projects in line with government guidelines.

The agreement is expected to support the execution of NHPC's infrastructure requirements on a pan-India basis, with NBCC undertaking projects across different locations as assigned by the power company.
