Himachal Pradesh to Build Rs 17.52 Crore School Building in Nadaun

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has laid the foundation stone for a new Government Senior Secondary School building in Nadaun, Hamirpur district, at a cost of Rs 17.52 crore.

The new school building will include six classrooms, seven laboratories, two staff rooms, a principal's office, library, conference room, NSS room, music room, dance room, art room and other essential facilities.

The existing school building has become old, and the new campus is scheduled to be completed by December 2026. The new campus will provide a modern and spacious learning environment with improved educational facilities for students. The state government is prioritising the strengthening of educational infrastructure, particularly to improve access to quality education for students in rural areas.
