Assam CM Meets Nitin Gadkari to Discuss Infrastructure Projects
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held discussions with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari regarding upcoming infrastructure projects, including the Guwahati Ring Road, in the state. The meeting emphasized the importance of these projects in enhancing Assam's connectivity with other Northeastern states and the rest of the country. Highlighting the significance of improving road connectivity for economic growth and regional integration, the discussions aimed at realizing a vision of constructing high-quality roads akin to those in America by the end of the year. The Guwahati Ring Road project, a priority for Sarma, aims to bolster Assam's road infrastructure and accelerate economic development.
