Indore unveils flurry of flyovers worth ₹232-cr in MP
The state PWD in MP is all set to start the construction work on 17 flyovers and six of them will be constructed in the Indore city itself entailing an estimated investment of ₹232 crore. The detailed project report (DPR) of six major flyovers has been completed and submitted to the department, state PWD minister Sajjan Singh Verma, said, confirming that his department has received the DPRs and construction work will start shortly as the department is currently in the process of floating tenders. In the meeting 17 flyovers have been proposed to be constructed in cities like Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Chhindwara and Jabalpur. In Indore, they included a four-lane flyover at Radisson Square to Star Square Length with 590 meters length and costing Rs 40 crore and six-lane flyover at Khajrana Square with a length of 546 meters involving an investment of Rs 35 crore. Apart from this, a six-lane flyover will come up at Khandwa Road Square Length with a length of 726 meters costing Rs 40 crore and another four lanes flyover at Bapat Square to Meghdoot Garden with 1170 meters length will cost Rs 55 crore and also six-lane flyover at MR 9 Junction (Robot Square) with 578 meters length entailing a cost of Rs 31.64 crore and six-lane flyover at Musakhedi Square 570 meters long involving ₹30.36 crore investment.
