IL&FS Transportation Networks in a joint venture with IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company has recently bagged two road projects in Madhya Pradesh of Rs 375.23cr. The joint venture in the ratio of 51:49 had submitted bids with the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Ltd., and subsequently, the JV emerged as lowest bidder for the development of two projects, said sources, claiming that the company has quoted Rs. 213.52-cr for project 1 and Rs. 161.71-cr for project 2. The construction period for project 1 is 730 days and for the project 2, the stipulated time is 548 days. Project 1 included scope of work for widening and reconstruction of Bariya Choki-Lugasi-Garhi Malhara Road, Bamitha-Dumra Road, Rajnagar-Bachhon Road, and Chhatarpur-Vikrampur-Rajnagar Road. Similarly, Project 2 is for widening and reconstruction of Barghat-Kanhiwada Road, Dharna-Asta-Dondiwada-Dharmakua Road, Waraseoni-Katangi Road, said official sources.
