Himachal CM Unveils ₹100.95 Cr Development Projects in Rohru Shimla

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid foundation stones for projects worth ₹100.95 crore in Rohru, Shimla district.
Highlights include a ₹29.22 crore ultra-modern grading and controlled atmosphere (CA) storage facility, increasing storage capacity from 700 to 2,031 MT to aid horticulturists. Advanced machinery worth ₹20.93 crore was also installed, enabling grading of 5 MT of apples per hour.
The CM inaugurated a ₹2.79 crore Government Ayurvedic Hospital, the ₹3.92 crore Chunjar-Katlah water supply scheme, and a ₹5.03 crore drinking water scheme for Rohru rural areas.
Foundation stones were laid for ₹51.74 crore road projects, including upgrades to Podhar-Mandiyori-Karasa, Seema-Ratnari, and other key routes. A hostel at Seema College, Rohru, costing ₹8.25 crore, was also announced.
