Spanish lifting leader Grúas Roxu S.A. is continuing to invest in high-performance equipment for its extensive fleet with an order for the Tadano AC 5.250L-2 all terrain crane, placed during bauma 2025 in Munich. The new addition further enhances the company’s ability to handle a wide variety of demanding lifting operations across Spain and beyond.

With its combination of reach, lifting power, and transport efficiency, the AC 5.250L-2 is a strong fit for the type of projects Grúas Roxu is known for — from construction and industrial work to wind energy and infrastructure development.

José Manuel Garcia, Owner of Grúas Roxu S.A., explains the reasoning behind the investment: “We chose the AC 5.250L-2 because it offers a very competitive lifting chart, a long main boom, and a transport concept that fits perfectly with how we operate. It’s a powerful, modern machine that will integrate well into our fleet and help us continue delivering excellent results for our clients.”

The AC 5.250L-2 features a 79-meter main boom, extending up to 30 meters with self-rigging extensions, which allows fast and efficient setup. The crane also supports smart features such as Tadano’s IC‑1 Plus and Surround View systems, eco mode for fuel-efficient operation, and a start-stop function that helps reduce emissions during downtime.

Gustavo Cortina, Sales Manager for Tadano in Spain, welcomes the order: “We are very proud that Grúas Roxu has once again chosen Tadano. The AC 5.250L-2 is a great match for their high standards and the wide variety of jobs they handle. We look forward to seeing it in action and continuing our strong relationship in the years ahead.”

The new crane marks another step in Grúas Roxu’s strategy to invest in reliable, cutting-edge lifting technology to support its continued growth.
