Government Plans ₹6,000 Cr Twin-Tube Tunnel in Ladakh

The government is evaluating a proposal from the Ladakh UT administration to construct a 7-8 km twin-tube tunnel through Kela Pass. Estimated to cost ₹6,000 crore, the tunnel aims to ensure seamless travel for civilians and military personnel between Leh and Pangong Lake.
