Godrej launches new project in Pune

Adding to its project portfolio in the country's real estate sector, Godrej Property has recently entered into a partnership to develop a residential group housing project in the prime locality of Bavdhan on the western fringes of Pune in Maharashtra, said Managing Director & CEO, Godrej Properties, Pirojsha Godrej, elaborating that the project in question is stretching across over 5.5 acres. The new project will offer approximately 52,000 square metres (560,000 sq. ft) of saleable area and will be developed as a modem residential development comprising of apartments of various configurations. The site is strategically located just off the Mumbai-Bangalore bypass and very close to the prime residential micro market of Kothrud. As a matter of fact, the project is ideally located on main Paud road within Pune Municipal Committee's jurisdiction. The new venture, which is also well connected to Hinjewadi IT Park, will be developed under the profit share arrangement and the builder is glad that it is adding the new project in Pune, which is considered a key growth market for the property builder. The newest project will be its 11th realty venture in the Pune city and it is looking forward to delivering an excellent project and will continue to grow its presence in and around the Pune city, he claimed.
