GMR Cargo & Logistics Raises Rs 750 Cr Loan from Axis Bank for Delhi Airport Cargo City Project

GMR Cargo and Logistics Limited (GCLL)
GMR Cargo and Logistics Limited (GCLL), a wholly owned subsidiary of GMR Airports, has secured a rupee term loan of up to Rs 750 crore from Axis Bank to partially fund the development of the Cargo City project at Delhi International Airport.

GMR Airports has provided a Sponsor Support Undertaking (SSU) and committed to retain 51% ownership in GCLL through a pledge or non-disposal undertaking. The SSU will remain valid through the construction of Phase 1 and one year of operations.

As part of the arrangement, GMR Airports has also agreed that all subordinated loans provided or to be provided to GCLL will remain subordinate to the bank facility.
