GMDA Plans Signal-Free Upgrade for Iffco Chowk to SPR Road

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) aims to enhance the 10-km road stretch from Iffco Chowk to the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) by eliminating traffic signals and constructing elevated structures. The project, set to commence within the next year, seeks to facilitate seamless traffic flow.

To this end, a consultant firm has been engaged to formulate a detailed project report. The envisioned upgrade draws inspiration from the Golf Course Road, renowned as the city's sole signal-free thoroughfare, facilitating uninterrupted vehicular movement from Cyber Hub to Sector 56.
