GAIL Pipeline Network
In an attempt to expand its ambit to cover more cities and towns, GAIL India has decided to expand its pipeline network by creating the required infrastructure at an investment of Rs. 20,000cr. The option of electronic transfer, e-payments will be the mainstay in future in the entire retail chain, as gas pipeline grid has virtually doubled in terms of capacity in the last 5-6 years and also GAIL's petrochemicals production capacity has tripled during the same period.
