Gadkari Unveils Rs 1,155Cr Road Projects in Andhra Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh

Major road development projects

Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, has announced two major road development projects aimed at boosting regional connectivity and economic growth.

In Andhra Pradesh, Rs 252.42 crore has been sanctioned for the development of a 6-lane elevated corridor at Ranasthalam, Srikakulam. This project aims to ease traffic congestion, improve road safety, and create new socio-economic opportunities for the region’s residents.

Additionally, Shri Gadkari approved the upgrade of the Gyaraspur to Rahatgarh section of National Highway-146 in Madhya Pradesh, with a budget of Rs 903.44 crore. Part of the Bhopal-Kanpur corridor, this project is expected to enhance trade, connectivity, and economic activities in the region.
