Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Lays Foundation Stone for Rs 3 Cr Foot Overbridge at Kashmere Gate

Rekha Gupta has laid the foundation stone for a foot overbridge at Monastery Market near Kashmere Gate. The project, estimated at Rs 3 crore, will be built on a Ladakhi architectural theme and aims to improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow in the area.

The foot overbridge will provide a safe crossing for commuters travelling between Ladakh Buddha Vihar and Monastery Market. Two lifts will also be installed to enhance accessibility for pedestrians.

According to the Chief Minister, the project addresses a long-standing demand of local residents. Once completed, the bridge will enable safer road crossings while helping traffic move more smoothly along the busy Ring Road Delhi corridor.
