Deendayal Port Authority Offers Lowest Cargo Charges; Rajasthan Boosts EXIM Connectivity with 12 ICDs

Deendayal-Port
Deendayal Port Authority continues to offer some of the lowest cargo and vessel-related charges among all major ports in India, making it one of the most cost-effective gateways for the export sector. The port’s competitive tariff structure and efficient transport services significantly support exporters and importers across the region.

Rajasthan’s inland logistics network further strengthens this advantage through 12 notified Inland Container Depots (ICDs) approved by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). These ICDs facilitate customs clearance, documentation, and seamless movement of EXIM cargo, enabling industries across the state to access global markets more efficiently.

The ICDs are located in Bhilwara, Bhiwadi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Ravatha Road (Kota), Mandavariya in Ajmer district, Hindaun City in Karauli district, Kathuwas and Mandhan in Alwar district, Dhanakya, and Kishangarh. Together, they form a robust logistics ecosystem that reduces transit time, cuts transportation costs, and supports Rajasthan’s growing trade volumes.
