Decks clear Rs.248.70-cr flyover project

The Centre has sanctioned Rs.248.70 crore for the construction of a flyover from Amberpet to Ramanthapur in the state of Telangana. In addition to this, the Centre on its request for the allotment of 100 acres of defence land in cantonment area for construction of skyways proposed on major thoroughfares in the city has also been cleared. In this connection, the Transport minister responded positively on the flyover following state’s assurance that additional cost for the land acquisition for the purpose would be borne by the State government. The ministry also accorded permission for the alignment of Uppal–Annajiguda national highway stretch, besides, assuring to consider upgradation of Gadwal- Kothakota – Mantralayam road as a national highway.
