DBL bags Rs.677 cr highway project in UP

In a recent development in the road sector, Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has been declared as the lowest bidder by the NHAI for a new EPC contract entailing an investment of Rs.677.07 crore in Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work in the project includes rehabilitating and upgrading the road stretch from the existing 2 lanes to 4 lanes of highway length under NHDP-lV-B from Lalganj-Hanumanha Section of NH-7 on EPC model. The project in question commands a completion period of 30 months for a length stretching across 43.4 km. The company, which is a Bhopal based road contractor and infra developer, over a period of time, progressively diversified and expanded its operational ambit from the parent state to central and other state governments, said an official spokesperson.
