CRDA Approves ₹11,467 Cr for Capital Region Projects

The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has greenlit tenders worth ₹11,467 crore for various development works in the capital region. At its 41st meeting, the authority approved 23 proposals to accelerate infrastructure growth.
The revised cost estimate for the Happy Nest project was increased to ₹984.1 crore from the previous ₹720.5 crore set in 2018-19. Fresh tenders will be called after no bids were received during the extended timeline. Administrative approval was granted for completing apartments for employees, including Type 1, Type 2, and Class 4 quarters, at a cost of ₹594.54 crore. These works will include a two-year defect liability period (DLP).
Additionally, ₹226.26 crore was sanctioned for infrastructure development at staff quarters, covering drinking water, underground drainage, stormwater drains, street lighting, internal roads, and landscaping.
