CPWD Invites Bids for ₹162.48 cr Hostel Project at IIT Gandhinagar

The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has called for bids to construct student hostel buildings with associated facilities at IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The project, part of Phase-2A, includes the development of 12 hostel blocks (G+4) with single, double, and triple occupancy rooms, a dining hall (B+G+2), and a sub-station (G+2). It also encompasses internal electrical installations, fire fighting and alarm systems, lifts, UPS, CCTV, street lighting, overhead and underground water tanks, pumps, external development works, and substation equipment under EPC (Mode-II).

Valued at ₹162.48 crore, the contract is slated for completion within 24 months, including three months for planning, design, and approvals, and 21 months for execution and completion of work.
