CHRYSO® CORROCRETE is a corrosion resistant admixture used in concrete that helps protect the steel rebars inside concrete structures against rust formation and subsequent corrosion, which can weaken the structure over a period of time. CHRYSO Corrocrsete can be used in all types of concrete structures, including marine environments.
CHRYSO®CORROCRETE is added to fresh concrete while batching at specific dosage to create a protective layer around the steel rebars, shielding them from harmful substances like chlorides, carbon dioxide, and pollutants that cause corrosion. This protective layer keeps the steel bars strong and prevents the concrete from undue effect of reinforcement corrosion.

How CHRYSO® CORROCRETE Works
CHRYSO® CORROCRETE uses the Bi-Polar technology, functioning as a mixed inhibitor, affecting both anodic and cathodic elements in the electrochemical corrosion process. As a concrete admixture, it migrates through the concrete matrix, forming a monomolecular coating on steel surfaces, effectively protecting against carbonation, chlorides, and sulphates without affecting the properties of concrete in its fresh and hardened state.Technical Parameters
