Cherian Construction cracks ₹195 cr flyover project

The Kochi-based Cherian Varkey Construction Company has recently bagged the works to build a 2.7-km-long flyover project at an investment of ₹195 crore. The work of the flyover at Kazhakuttam along the NH 66 and the NH 66 bypass extending to Karode on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border has been awarded on turnkey project basis. The Letter of Acceptance (LOA) will be handed over to the winning bidder very shortly NHAI, sources said elaborating that it will be the longest flyover in the state capital as it is being executed under NHAI to make travel hassle-free to Technopark, where over 50,000 IT professionals work, and along the bypass and to avoid congestion in Kazhakuttam, the main gateway to the capital. The four-lane flyover is to commence from near the main gate of the Technopark in the NH 66 bypass that is four laned terminating near the CSI Mission Hospital in NH 66 en route to Kollam, said NHAI in an official statement.
