In a bid to build top class road network in Tripura in the north eastern state, the Centre has sanctioned an additional ₹358 crore for construction of new roads in the rural areas of the state. In this connection, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb had met the PM and had demanded an additional fund for speedy completion of the works. The approved amount will be invested for completion of unfinished projects.
